Many fans were moved to tears when singer, Banky W revealed that he had recently undergone surgery to eliminate a rare skin cancer tumour that manifested on his shoulder.

Upon sharing the heart wrenching photos of himself on the sick bed, concerned Nigerians started wishing the singer quick recovery and sending prayers and love his way.

The comments, love, support and prayers which touched Banky's heart has now moved him to send a thank you note to his lovers on social media.

He shared a photo of himself looking healthier on Snapchat and wrote: “thanks for all the love. I’m sooo grateful. as you’all can see i’m back on my feet. surgery was a month ago and in the clear. so just thank God for me and be a blessing to someone around U. God is good!!”
